Obituary
Lydia Joy Morris-Bloom passed into glory on Saturday, July 4, 2020.
Lydia was born on July 1, 2020, to Samuel K. Morris-Bloom and Mallori G. Morris-Bloom. In this life, Lydia suffered several physical afflictions, including scoliosis and arthrogryposis, which ultimately led to her passing. Nevertheless, throughout her short life she retained a sweet and gentle disposition and was a joy to love. She will be deeply missed by her devoted parents, and her brother, Luke S. Morris-Bloom.
In addition to her parents and brother, Lydia is survived on her paternal side by her grandmother, Teresa Morris of Emerald Isle, NC, her aunt, Sara Whitford of Emerald Isle, NC, her cousin Isaac Macias of Emerald Isle, NC, and great-grandparents Albert and Beatrice Morris of Vanceboro, North Carolina.
Lydia is survived on her maternal side by her grand parents, Elbert Jr. and Patti Guthrie of Cedar Point, NC, her aunt, Dana Guthrie of Swansboro, NC, her uncle, Drew Guthrie of Cedar Point, NC, her great-grandfather Austin Guthrie of Cedar Point, NC, and great-grandmother, Mary Collins of Maysville, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, PO Box 690, Taylors, SC 29687 in honor of Lydia Joy Morris to assist in training men for the Gospel ministry
Funeral
Her funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 Thursday, July 9,2020, at Grace Church, 807-10 W. Corbett St. Swansboro, NC 28584.
